Bad Habits to Avoid in the Workplace

Displaying bad habits around the workplace can create an unhealthy and unproductive environment. We all show behaviors from to time that or coworkers find irritating, but most of us change our ways when we realize the impact our actions have on others. Absenteeism

The second on the list is absenteeism. Some employees can not accumulate sick or vacation days. The moment they have time for a day or two, they’ll call in sick. It’s like the hours are burning a hole in their pocket. Unfortunately, when a real emergency arises, they don’t have accrued time and often have to take time off without pay. Ouch.

Unclean Work Space

Then there’s the habit of not keeping a clean work space around their office, cubicle or desk. Keeping a clean and orderly work area is conducive to productivity. Lack of organization can lead to losing things like paperwork and tools. The danger is the lost item could be a major contract or proposal.
