Celebrate Red Rose Day With Your Customers

What an enjoyable holiday – Red Rose Day. That’s right June 12 is Red Rose Day. We all know that this beautiful, fragrant flower is a well-known symbol of love. Who better to show your appreciation than your customers? To help you celebrate this holiday with your customers, I’ve compiled a few Rose Day ideas for businesses.

Ideas for celebrating

  1. Give a 10% discount to any customer who walks into your store wearing a red rose.
  2. Nail salons can offer a complimentary rose design on an accent finger.
  3. Coffee shops can get a red rose stamp and stamp your paper cups or paper pastry sleeves.
  4. Put red rose petal potpourri, rose scented soap and rose scented candles your bathrooms.
  5. Restaurants can feature a special dessert with a red rose made out of frosting on each serving.
  6. Make a floral Queen of Hearts arrangements – half white roses and the other half red roses.
  7. Place a chalkboard (or large blank poster or white board) at the entrance and write “What comes to mind when you think of red roses?” Then encourage each customer to write their ideas on the board.
  8. Restaurants can have red cloth napkins folded into rose shapes at each seat.
  9. You can have roses for sale for $1 for couples to purchase for each other in celebration.

Perhaps you found an idea or two that struck your fancy. O perhaps there’s one that you can build upon to show your customer appreciation.

Many business owners make the mistake of spending lots of time courting new prospects while allowing their relationships with current clients or patrons grow cold. All customers appreciate a freebie or discount now-and-then. They also like to know that you are grateful for their business. Customer appreciation doesn’t take much, yet a little goes a long way.
